What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to recognise it on future visits. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and provide information to site owners.
Cookies set by this site
Skelland Brown Management's website is a static site - we do not set any first-party cookies, do not use Google Analytics, and do not embed advertising or tracking pixels.
The only client-side storage we use is your browser's localStorage, which records a single key (theme) so the site can remember your light/dark mode preference between visits. This value never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to us.
Third-party cookies
Our website is hosted on Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3. AWS may set cookies for security purposes (e.g. detecting unusual access patterns); see the AWS Privacy Notice.
External links from this site (for example to AWS, the Information Commissioner's Office, or social media platforms) may set their own cookies once you click through. Those are governed by the receiving site's own cookie policy.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings - most browsers let you block, delete or be alerted to new cookies. Useful guides:
Changes to this policy
If we ever start setting analytics or marketing cookies we will update this policy and present a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
